VIKAL SINGH, D.P.M., M.P.H.
Having family members with Type II diabetes mellitus, Vikal Singh had an earlier exposure to diabetes and its effects on the lower extremities. Vikal graduated with research honors from CUNY-City College and received an MPH from Walden University. Before entering medical school at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Vikal worked for the NYC Department of Health as a health specialist helping the students at NYC Public schools. Attending Jamaica Hospital Medical Center’s Podiatric Medicine and Surgical residency was an easy decision for Vikal, as he is a native of Flushing, Queens. Vikal’s hobbies include cooking, traveling, and gardening.
JULIUS BAUTISTA, D.P.M.
Julius Bautista was born in Jamaica Hospital and is here to give back to his community! As a child, he loved running, and he quickly learned how important Foot and Ankle Health is for people to enjoy their hobbies and professions. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from CUNY City College and later earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. When he’s not on-call, you can find this Queens Village native pursuing new hobbies, trying new food, or playing video games.

AHADULLAH TOKHI, D.P.M.
Ahadullah Tokhi graduated from St. John’s University in Queens with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. After experiencing personal foot woes and meeting a very passionate and enlightening podiatrist, he became interested in the podiatric profession. Eventually, this led him to the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center Podiatry program, where he regularly helps treat countless patients as a first-year resident. Aside from podiatry, some of his obsessions include volunteer work and basketball. Lakers fan for life!
MIR UDDIN, D.P.M.
Goal, goal, goal! It was a lifelong dream for Mir Uddin to play for his national soccer team, but an incident in his life changed his mind, leading him to become a doctor in his home land of Bangladesh. He spent 5 years in fellowship training in general surgery, where he was exposed to a wide variety of cases, including his favorite – trauma surgery.
To Uddin, surgery is not only a profession; it is an art. In transitioning and rotating through multiple NYC hospitals, Jamaica Hospital felt like home to him. Its professionalism, academic environment, level 1 trauma center, and (most importantly to him) the friendly environment of the JHMC podiatry team brought him here. Uddin’s hobbies include watching soccer and movies, cooking, and travelling.
