Providing our patients with the highest-quality care is a top priority for Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and Flushing Hospital Medical Center. Therefore, our patients and community can rest assured that the pending CIR work stoppage will not impact inpatient or outpatient care. Our hospitals have implemented a comprehensive strike plan to ensure all services remain open to our community. No elective procedures have been postponed or cancelled and all medical and surgical clinical appointments will remain open.
The Department of Dental Medicine at Jamaica Hospital has been providing valuable services to the community since it was established in 1972 and has grown to meet the community’s increasing needs. All services are offered at our state-of-the-art dental center located at 134-20 Jamaica Avenue.
Our beautifully-decorated, 11,000-square-foot facility features a comfortable waiting area, exam rooms that provide our patients with privacy, 19 dental chairs, and the latest, state-of-the-art equipment, such as digital radiography units that reduce the amount of radiation required to take x-rays.
In our center, you will have access to a team of highly-qualified dental professionals consisting of over 30 voluntary attendings, three hygienists, 14 residents (including a pediatric dentistry resident and one oral surgery resident), and a number of support staff members who have been specially trained to provide the highest quality care. All members of our department are dedicated to making your visit as comfortable as possible.
In addition, if you are looking for a pediatric dentist in Queens, our designated pediatric dental program will go above and beyond to meet your children’s dental needs.
