The Retail Pharmacy is a full service pharmacy serving the communities surrounding Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. The Pharmacy is conveniently located in the Main Lobby and is staffed with registered pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who provide medications and supply drug information.

Pharmacists review patient medication orders for appropriate dosage and use, drug allergies, and interactions with other drugs or food.

The pharmacy also develops educational materials for patients and serves as a resource for professional education.

The pharmacy also offers a free concierge service, which includes dispensing medications and offering free bedside counseling for our discharged patients. The goal of this service is to improve medication adherence, resulting in better patient outcomes.

The hours of operation for the Pharmacy are:

Monday through Friday 8:00am to 9:00pm
Weekends and holidays 9:00am to 5:00pm.
