The Department of Ambulatory Care at Jamaica Hospital provides patients with excellent primary and specialty care in an outpatient setting. The department operates a main on-campus center and 9 other locations conveniently located throughout Queens and East New York. These facilities provide a full range of services, including:

Jamaica Hospital’s on-site Ambulatory Care Center is located on the ground floor of the hospital’s”C” building and offers evening and Saturday hours. The Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Medical and pediatric sessions are held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To make an appointment, call 718-206-7001. Walk-ins are accepted, based on availability.
The Ambulatory Care Centers provide the following:
- Modern and fully equipped medical offices
- 24 hour/day phone access to physicians
- Ability to be followed by the same physician
- Multilingual staff
- Most insurances accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid
- A member and participating provider of HealthFirst
- Sliding fee scale available for qualified patients
- Licensed by the New York State Department of Health
- Operated by Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, serving communities in Queens and East New York since 1891
All of our sites are staffed by fully qualified, Board Certified/Board Eligible Physicians and licensed nurse practitioners. The centers accept most major insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid. HealthFirst, and Child Health Plus plans are accepted as well.
