As a member of the Queens Safe Kids Coalition, Jamaica Hospital Medical Center’s injury prevention coordinator, Alex Ariza, was involved in organizing the Winter Safety Workshop with Joan Bush of Northwell Health. 

This assembly style presentation covered topics ranging from recreational safety for winter sports as well as pedestrian safety.
