The Trauma Division of the Department of Surgery at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center will be celebrating this month by promoting positive image of aging and fall prevention awareness for our seniors. According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), one in four Americans age 65+ fall each year.

Senior Community Centers in the surrounding area will be showcase during this month. We will be educating seniors that falls are preventable.

The Trauma Division at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center will be providing facts, tools, and fall prevention strategies to help keep our senior citizens safe and strong!
