Jamaica Hospital’s involvement primarily focused on handing out educational literature on Elder Abuse/Financial Scams, Falls Prevention, Pedestrian Safety, Home Safety, Stop the Bleed, and interacting with people of all ages from the community one-on-one. Conversations were revolved around the fore mentioned. Seniors were advised about frequent eye check-ups to ensure proper vision, and exercise programs to gain muscles strengths and balance.
