Dr. Ahmed Khalil, Division Director of Vascular Surgery Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. He has been in this position since 2008. Dr. Khalil has been Board certified in Specialties of General Surgery and Vascular surgery since 2006. He is an active Fellow of the American College of surgeons as well as the Society of Vascular Surgery. He holds additional credentials as a registered physician in Vascular Interpretation. Dr. Khalil received his Vascular Surgery Fellowship training at Rush University Medical Center and Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He completed his General Surgery Residency training at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
In 2017, he was appointed as an honorary Surgeon for the New York City Police Department for his role in saving policemen’s lives.
Dr. Khalil is active in Vascular Surgery training for New York Hospital/ Cornell General Surgery Residency Program.
He specializes in all aspects of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. HE also has a special interest in Carotid Artery disease, Abdominal Aortic Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease and Varicose Veins.

Dr. Mina Guerges is an Attending Vascular Surgeon who received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and his M.D. Degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan and his Vascular surgery Fellowship at Staten Island University Hospital. Northwell. Dr. Guerges serves as a military surgeon in the US Navy Reserves and is an active NYPD Tropper Surgeon.
