The Addiction Medicine Fellowship is a one-year ACGME-accredited training program designed to develop physicians into skilled, compassionate, and innovative leaders in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use disorders. Fellows receive comprehensive clinical training across the full continuum of addiction care while serving one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse patient populations in the United States.
Located in Queens, New York, our fellowship provides exposure to patients from a wide range of cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This unique environment allows fellows to understand the impact of social determinants of health, healthcare disparities, and cultural factors on addiction and recovery while developing the skills necessary to provide effective, patient-centered care in any practice setting.
