Aldane R.K. Hoilett, MD
I am Dr. Aldane R.K. Hoilett, a Hematologist/Oncologist with a passion for providing comprehensive care to my patients. I completed my medical education at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health. At Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, I treat a variety of conditions, including breast, lung, prostate, and colorectal cancers, as well as hematological disorders like anemia and leukemias. My approach focuses on addressing both the medical and emotional needs of my patients to ensure they receive holistic care.
My journey into medicine has been profoundly influenced by my experiences with cancer in my community, including the loss of my aunt to breast cancer. These experiences ignited my interest in oncology and highlighted the disparities in healthcare access faced by those from less fortunate backgrounds. I am excited to join the Jamaica Hospital team, where I can collaborate with dedicated professionals to improve cancer care in our community. I am committed to health equity and community outreach initiatives, empowering patients with knowledge about their conditions and treatment options to ensure they receive the support they need throughout their healthcare journeys.
