They burn at extremely high temperatures and can rapidly burn\nthrough clothing and skin.&nbsp; Items such as sparklers are mistakenly thought\nto be safe, but they are actually quite dangerous too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In states where it is\nlegal to purchase and operate fireworks, please be sure to follow the following\nsafety tips:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Never allow\nyoung children to handle fireworks<\/li><li>Older children\nshould use them only under the close supervision of an adult<\/li><li>Never light\nfireworks indoors<\/li><li>Only use them\naway from people, houses and flammable material<\/li><li>Do not try to\nre-light or handle malfunctioning fireworks<\/li><li>Soak unused\nfireworks in water for a few hours before discarding<\/li><li>Keep a bucket\nof water nearby to fully extinguish fireworks in case of fire<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, have a safe\nFourth of July and leave the firework displays to the trained professionals.
