Most\r\nrecently, the term has been mentioned as a long-term side effect of COVID-19\r\npatients. Many of these patients, referred to as \u201clong haulers\u201d are currently living\r\nwith this condition.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Regardless of the cause for your brain fog, Jamaica Hospital\r\nMedical Center is offering the following tips to help you manage this\r\ncondition:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Get more sleep \u2013 Sleep deprivation can make it\r\ndifficult for you to think clearly during the day. It is recommended that you\r\nreceive 8-9 hours of sleep every night.<\/li><li>Exercise your body\u2013 Physical activity doesn\u2019t\r\nonly offer benefits for your body, it can also help improve memory and reaction\r\ntime.<\/li><li>Exercise your brain \u2013 Regularly challenge your\r\nbrain power by participating in puzzles and other activities. Also seek other\r\nenjoyable activities that will keep your brain engaged.<\/li><li>Decrease stress \u2013 Identify coping skills such as\r\nremoving stressful elements in your life and saying no to requests that can cause\r\nstress.
