This month we shine our Employee Spotlight on Dominic\nRodrigues, Registration Supervisor in the Emergency Department. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dominic was born in Bangladesh and came to New York when he\nwas three years old. He grew up in Queens Village and attended P.S. 82, Junior\nHigh School 109 and August Martin High School. Dominic is a graduate of\nQueensborough Community College with a degree in Business Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dominic began his career in 2002 at Jamaica Hospital as a\nregistrar, then became a financial investigator. He was later promoted to his\ncurrent position as a supervisor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dominic still resides in Queens Village with his wife Annmarie\nand their 8-year- old son Andrew. He enjoys spending his free time with family\nand friends. One of Dominic\u2019s favorite things to do is to go fishing, primarily\nin the Spring and Summer but he has also gone occasionally in the winter months.\nWhen he is home he enjoys building things with his son. They have built model\nairplanes and they also put together puzzles of maps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dominic likes taking trips and likes picking new places to\nexplore. A few years ago he took his family to Australia and describes it as\none of the best vacations he has ever taken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dominic enjoys working at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center because\nhe feels like he is a part of a really wonderful group of people. He enjoys\nhelping people, both his fellow employees and the patients that come to us from\nall over. He looks forward to continuing to contribute to the hospital\u2019s growth\nand success. <\/p>\n
