There are several factors that may explain why they are more attractive to mosquitoes. They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blood type \u2013 people who are Type O and Type B<\/li>\n<li>Sweat \u2013 contains lactic acid, uric acid, and ammonia<\/li>\n<li>Color of clothing \u2013 dark colors as well as red are more attractive<\/li>\n<li>Pregnancy \u2013 because of the higher output of exhaled carbon dioxide and higher body temperature<\/li>\n<li>Heavy breathing \u2013 mosquitoes are attracted to carbon dioxide emitted in exhaled air<\/li>\n<li>Skin bacteria \u2013 certain areas of the body have more dense bacteria such as the feet and ankles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are some aspects that we cannot change.
