Jia Yee, M.D.

Dr. Yee joined the hematology and oncology department as an attending physician in August 2023. He is a native New Yorker and was raised in South Brooklyn. He attended medical school at the State University of New York at Downstate in Brooklyn. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia in 2018 and his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Downstate in 2021.

Dr. Yee is a board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology as well as the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Yee is an active participant in the teaching program at Jamaica Hospital, working with residents in his outpatient clinic as well as on inpatient rotations. He is committed to bringing cutting-edge oncology services to Jamaica Hospital in collaboration with the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital.
