Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is the primary institution. Patients treated at this tertiary care center are from a diverse ethnic and socioeconomic population, with strong Guyanese and other international populations. Here, the general psychiatry residency training program is located. This is the primary base site for the Fellowship.

Flushing Hospital Medical Center is the secondary institution for Fellowship training. This hospital serves a different ethnic population with more Asian and South Asian patients. Fellows will gain a varied experience in consultation-liaison psychiatry at this site. The hospital is the base for our addiction treatment services for the Medisys Healthcare Network. Here, Fellows will gain more intense training in substance related issues for patients with medical problems. There are more liaison opportunities related to substance-related issues here as well.
